The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runhorn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Runhorn tries to clinch but Tatum is having none of it.

Tatum moves into range and clinches up with Runhorn.
Tatum goes for a takedown in the clinch but Runhorn prevents it.

Tatum keeps control of Runhorn as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Tatum is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tatum lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Runhorn backwards.

Tatum wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Tatum wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Runhorn has him pressed against the cage.

Tatum is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Runhorn can't fight it off and eventually Tatum manages to take the fight to the floor. Runhorn looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Tatum feints and as Runhorn raises his hands in defense, Tatum changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
