Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Eron Saunders (ranked 3365 p4p, 2504 weight class) and Colestein Veglin (ranked 186 p4p, 265 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eron Saunders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Colestein Veglin! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Veglin misses with the body kick and Saunders counters with a lovely straight right hand! A low kick from Saunders is predictable there and Veglin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Veglin scores with a jab to the body. Saunders throws a hook but Veglin avoids it easily. Veglin throws a lazy uppercut
and Saunders counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Veglin moves into the clinch. Saunders looking to stall.
Saunders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saunders keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Veglin. Saunders went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Veglin slips a jab and a cross from Saunders.
Veglin unleashes a big counter combination but Saunders bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Veglin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Veglin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Veglin throws a one two combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saunders misses with a right hand and Veglin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Veglin tries to clinch but Saunders moves out of range. Veglin throws a body shot but no joy. Saunders closes the distance and clinches. Veglin wants to break the clinch but can't.
Saunders gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Saunders pushes Veglin back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Saunders lands a nice shot to the body. Saunders pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Veglin closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Saunders crashing to the mat! Saunders uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Saunders is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Veglin throws a hook but Saunders blocks it. Oh Saunders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Veglin ducks right into an uppercut from Saunders. Saunders seems to have got his legs back now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Veglin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Veglin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A quick step to the side and Saunders tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Veglin misses with a two punch combination.
Saunders instigates a clinch. Saunders breaks the clinch.
Saunders misses with a jab, cross combination.
Veglin falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Saunders to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Veglin lands with a good body shot. Saunders misses with a series of wild punches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Colestein Veglin will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Veglin misses with a combination
and Saunders counters with a series of strikes. Veglin will be more careful next time no doubt.
Veglin is rocked! Veglin swings widly with a right hand
and Saunders counters with a perfect left hook, dropping Veglin to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Eron Saunders! Eron Saunders bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
