The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Floor throws a front kick aimed at Shepherd's knee but Shepherd avoids it well.
De Floor swats away the attempt to clinch by Shepherd.
De Floor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Shepherd dives in for a single leg takedown but De Floor sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
De Floor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
De Floor circles away from the clinch attempt.
De Floor fakes the leg kick and cracks Shepherd in the body.
Shepherd avoids a kick to the body.
Shepherd tries to counter by closing the distance.
A thudding body kick lands there by De Floor!
A nice leg kick lands there from De Floor.

De Floor throws a head kick but Shepherd moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Floor throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Shepherd misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from De Floor.
Shepherd blocks a head kick by De Floor.
Shepherd tries for a takedown but De Floor sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
De Floor lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

De Floor tries to land a front kick but Shepherd steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Flip De Floor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jensen Shepherd.
De Floor throws a nice outside leg kick.
De Floor throws a powerful right kick. Shepherd tried to block low but the kick was high! Shepherd was taken right off of his feet! De Floor jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
