Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeramiah Mccall (ranked 3930 p4p, 4006 weight class) and Johan Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johan Dixon!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mccall gets caught napping as Dixon dives in and scores a takedown. Mccall manages to retain guard.
Mccall is wriggling around but Dixon manages to pass to half guard.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Dixon gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Dixon apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Mccall tries to close the distance and clinch but Dixon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Well Dixon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
