The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to clinch but Jokinen moves out of range.
Jokinen fails to land with a series of punches.
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jokinen.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Smith checks a leg kick.
Smith falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jokinen counters with a body kick that stops Smith in his tracks momentarily.
Smith wants to clinch
letting Jokinen counter with a right hand.
Smith closes the distance looking to clinch
and Jokinen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jokinen dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Jokinen tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jokinen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Smith lands a really nice looking cross but Jokinen seems unphased.
Smith misses the body punch
and Jokinen counters with a nice body kick.
Jokinen throws a leg kick that misses.
Jokinen throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Olli Jokinen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Smith looks gassed!
Jokinen moves out of range of the strikes.
Crack! A monster head kick from Jokinen and Smith falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Jokinen!
