This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 43 wins and 55 losses; Boris Balkan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 65 wins and 38 losses; Jackson Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Balkan as he jumps to the side.
Ramirez closes the distance and clinches up with Balkan, looking for a takedown. Ramirez pushes Balkan against the cage but Balkan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Balkan half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Balkan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ramirez pinned against the cage. Ramirez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
