Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Cabral (ranked 1501 p4p, 2072 weight class) and Freaky Fister (ranked 213 p4p, 268 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cabral looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Cabral wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fister, who protects the arm well.
Cabral is breathing heavily.
Fister is looking to reverse the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cabral is staying tight to Fister's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Fister is looking to regain half guard here but Cabral keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fister is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Cabral with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Fister manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Fister is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cabral pulls his head out easily.
Fister is in trouble now - Cabral has advanced to mount!
Cabral takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fister tries to lock up and control but Cabral gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fister looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

You can see the frustration on Fister's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cabral has an Americana. Fister didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cabral is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cabral hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
