Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brownie Anderson (ranked 1585 p4p, 2184 weight class) and Binsar Siregar (ranked 209 p4p, 271 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Binsar Siregar!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a jab when Siregar was well out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Siregar! But no joy.
Siregar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Anderson misses with a double jab.
Siregar lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Siregar dives in and scores a takedown into Anderson's guard.
Anderson wants to stand but Siregar is controlling the position.
Siregar wants to pass the guard but Anderson is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Siregar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Siregar uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Anderson throws a low kick but Siregar avoids it.
We've been hearing reports that Anderson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Brownie Anderson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Anderson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Siregar has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Anderson is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Siregar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Anderson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Siregar keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Binsar Siregar dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Siregar throws a series of punches but Anderson moves out of range.
Anderson tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Siregar is able to avoid easily.
Anderson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Anderson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Siregar.
Siregar shoots in looking for a takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl out of it but Siregar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Anderson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Siregar tries to counter with a clinch but Anderson shakes him off and moves away.

Nice sprawl there from Anderson as Siregar shoots in.
Brownie Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Binsar Siregar.

and Siregar counters by moving into the clinch.

Siregar has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Anderson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Anderson looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Siregar is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Anderson is defending well though. Siregar let's go of the attempt for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Siregar has his opponent's back but Anderson is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Siregar.

and Siregar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anderson's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Siregar cracks Anderson with a solid left hand.
Siregar slips nicely into half guard.
Siregar moves into full mount! Anderson won't be happy about that!
You get the feeling that Anderson really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's time! Anderson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Anderson stalks Siregar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Siregar's face. Siregar staggers backwards, shaken.

Siregar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anderson sprawls well. Anderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Siregar gets slowly back to his feet.

Anderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Anderson misses with a leg kick.
Anderson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Anderson fails to land with a series of punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Siregar checks a leg kick.
Siregar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anderson avoids it really well and circles away.
Siregar dodges the punch combination from Anderson.

Anderson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Siregar throws a front kick aimed at Anderson's knee but Anderson avoids it well.

Siregar moves into the clinch.
Anderson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Anderson wants to stall.
Anderson can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

Siregar works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Brownie Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Siregar throws an elbow that misses. Anderson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Siregar's guard. Nice move by Anderson!

Binsar Siregar is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

and Anderson counters with a crisp one two that drops Siregar! Anderson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Siregar to his feet! Siregar is in big trouble!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brownie Anderson.
I think Siregar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
