Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between jack mehoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karma Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mehoff on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Burns is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
mehoff decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
mehoff winds up and cracks Burns with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
mehoff wants to control but Burns is keeping him busy.
Burns is looking to control mehoff's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Burns avoid being mounted?
The fighters are battling for position here. Burns manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Burns looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but mehoff puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Burns lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but mehoff circles away quickly and effectively.
mehoff will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Burns is nestled in close to mehoff, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Burns misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Burns moves into the clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Burns.
mehoff keeps control of Burns as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
mehoff breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
jack mehoff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
mehoff looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Burns controlling the position for now.
Burns is trying to maintain the position but mehoff is very close to passing his half guard.
Burns gets back to full guard.

Burns is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Still in half guard, Burns seems content to control.
Burns's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Karma Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Burns counters with a three punch combo that has mehoff backing up. mehoff nods at Burns to acknowledge the strikes.

jack mehoff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Nice uppercut lands for Burns. That snapped mehoff's head back.
Burns lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Burns stalks mehoff and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into mehoff's face. mehoff staggers backwards, shaken.
Burns throws a combination but it was largely blocked by mehoff.
Burns throws a right and a left that both miss.
mehoff decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. mehoff connects with a nice short shot to Burns's temple.

Burns is staying active underneath mehoff, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Burns moves into full guard.
mehoff is pushing down on Burns's leg trying to pass to half guard. Burns is fighting to maintain full guard but mehoff has managed to sneak the leg through.
mehoff tries to pass the half guard into mount. Burns knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Burns gets back to full guard.

mehoff missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
mehoff trying to control but Burns is working from the bottom.
mehoff wants to get up but he can't break Burns's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Burns tries to land a sweep but no joy.
mehoff trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Burns changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. mehoff looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Burns is looking to take a break and control but mehoff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Burns wants to take a breather but mehoff manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Burns.
jack mehoff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Karma Burns is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
mehoff looking for a guillotine here but Burns defends easily.

Karma Burns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
