The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Horn.

Bush gets caught napping as Horn dives in and scores a takedown. Bush manages to retain guard.
Bush has control of Horn's left arm, preventing Horn from doing any damage.
Horn tries to free his leg and advance position but Bush is retaining full guard.
Horn is still trying to improve position.

Bush lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Horn is in trouble now - Bush has advanced to mount!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Horn can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bush has control of Horn's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Horn regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Horn is looking to improve his position but Bush isn't that keen on the idea.

Horn tries to improve his position but instead Bush has taken his back!
Bush connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Horn to escape the position.

Bush wants to stand but Horn has his arm trapped.
Bush works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Bush stands up and beckons Horn to his feet.
Horn throws a sloppy head kick and Bush moves out of range easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Horn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Bush closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Horn wants to control but Bush is keeping busy and won't allow it.
