The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Nucombe misses.

Nucombe gets caught flat footed, as Burns shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Burns postures up.
Nucombe wants to sweep here but Burns controlling him for the moment.
Burns pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nucombe is keeping the position for now.
Burns is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns tries to free his leg and advance position but Nucombe is retaining full guard.

Burns advances to half guard.
Burns looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Nucombe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Burns wants to pass the guard but Nucombe is defending well.

Burns is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Burns seems to be looking for submissions.
Burns is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

It looks like Burns might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Nucombe trying to hold on to Burns's head to control him but Burns postures up.

Burns seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Nucombe is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
