Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eee Zzz (ranked 2836 p4p, 4820 weight class) and Rob Punk (ranked 332 p4p, 471 weight class). Rob Punk struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Eee Zzz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eee Zzz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Punk!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zzz's waist but Zzz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Punk off to one side.
Punk clinches up with Zzz and pushes him back against the ropes.
Punk prevents Zzz from breaking the clinch.
Zzz is working for takedown but Punk is calmly controlling the position for now.
Punk has Zzz pushed against the ropes.
Punk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zzz slips a jab and a cross from Punk.
Zzz darts in looking for a takedown but Punk gets double underhooks and turns Zzz into the ropes.
Punk dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes.
The referee is keeping an eye on Punk - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Punk is pressed up against the ropes. Zzz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Punk down to the mat. Punk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eee Zzz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zzz misses the jab.
Zzz shoots in for a double leg but Punk sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zzz scores with a hook to the body. Punk takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Punk clinches up against the ropes.
Punk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Punk clinches with his opponent.
Punk jumps guard but Zzz stands there with Punk around his waist. Punk gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Zzz fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Punk has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Zzz uses from the top position.
Zzz prevents Punk from getting back to his feet.
Punk looking for a sweep. Not yet Punk, not yet.
Zzz throwing strikes from guard but Punk blocks nicely.
Zzz wants to control from the top but Punk keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zzz advances to half guard.
Zzz wants to pass the guard but Punk is defending well.
Zzz trying to control from half guard but Punk is working away.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Punk regains full guard. Nicely done.
Punk keeping moving, preventing Zzz from controlling successfully.
Zzz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Punk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zzz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zzz has hold of Punk's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Punk tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Zzz cranks the arm and Punk screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Punk, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Eee Zzz!
