Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donny Solade (ranked 4901 p4p, 4457 weight class) and Matto Kaveri (ranked 216 p4p, 208 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Donny Solade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matto Kaveri!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solade leaves Kaveri with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kaveri shoots in and gets a takedown into Solade's guard.

Kaveri is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Solade is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Solade has escaped and now he's on top!

Solade is working Kaveri over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Solade accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kaveri has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Solade should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kaveri has tightened it up now! Solade should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Matto Kaveri!
