Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Un Kha (ranked 5679 p4p, 2764 weight class) and Moe Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kha comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the tiger. Moe Lester looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Un Kha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Moe Lester!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester scores with the left hand. Kha knows he should have avoided that one.
Kha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lester swivels and escapes.
Kha slips a jab from Lester.
Kha ducks under a wild hook from Lester.
Kha misses with the combination.

Lester closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lester lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kha backwards.
Kha can't break the clinch.
Kha looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lester gets through Kha's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lester tries to throw a body punch but Kha avoids it by throwing Lester back against the cage.

Kha pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lester throws a looping overhand right but Kha ducks down to avoid it.
Lester keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Lester has Kha pressed against the cage, preventing Kha from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kha blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Lester scores with a nice short uppercut.

Kha pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lester postures up.
Kha wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Kha wants to improve his position but instead Lester has moved into half guard.
Kha wants to improve his position but Lester is controlling well.

Lester is controlling the pace.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kha is looking for a sweep. Lester is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Kha throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lester was covering up waiting for the punch and Kha finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kha drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lester looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lester looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lester!

Kha is trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kha wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

You can see the frustration on Kha's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lester is staying tight to Kha's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Kha can't do much from the bottom here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Lester connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kha looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kha moves away from the strike by Lester.
Kha is looking to counter the offense by Lester and move into the clinch.

Kha shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lester napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kha swings around for an armbar but Lester sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kha's guard.
Lester is breathing heavily.

Lester advances to half guard.
Lester wants to pass the guard but Kha is defending well.
Kha wants to get back to full guard but Lester has passed into side control.
Kha wants to control but Lester postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kha tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lester wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Kha's face as Lester controls the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Moe Lester showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kha fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lester looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lester tries to avoid it but Kha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lester to the ground. Lester escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kha is trying to push Lester away but Lester has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Kha tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lester just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lester lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kha backwards.
Lester content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Lester gets through Kha's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Kha escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kha shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lester as he jumps to the side.
Lester might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Kha takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Lester punishes Kha's body with a nice straight punch.
Un Kha has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lester's waist but Lester gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kha off to one side.

And that's the end of the fight!
Moe Lester comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lester has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
