Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Sarkisov (ranked 5693 p4p, 24170 weight class) and Hyu Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Head has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sarkisov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Head somewhat.

and Sarkisov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sarkisov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Hyu Head has been cut.
Head gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sarkisov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've been told by Sarkisov's head coaches at GAMMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sergei Sarkisov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hyu Head.
Head drops his hands momentarily and Sarkisov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Head shoots in looking for a takedown but Sarkisov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Head's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sarkisov looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

and Sarkisov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The cut above Hyu Head's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sarkisov digs a right hand underneath Head's ribcage. Head let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Hyu Head's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Head takes an elbow to the forehead.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hyu Head's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Sergei Sarkisov!
Sergei Sarkisov gave a mention to Urban Fighter in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Hyu Head was interviewed post fight and said '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
