Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno RX (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruno RX! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fulton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fulton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by RX, who protects the arm well. Fulton working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. RX misses with a takedown so Fulton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fulton trying to control the position from guard on top but RX is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if RX can do anything to dispel that myth. Fulton wants to control from the top but RX keeps moving. Fulton slips nicely into half guard. Fulton is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

RX is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fulton has just dragged him back down to the mat. RX is not content to let Fulton control the position. RX is trying to control Fulton's posture but Fulton avoids it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. RX has a takedown stuffed. RX shoots in for a double leg but Fulton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mark Fulton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fulton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fulton looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. RX really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fulton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fulton uses his free foot to push down on RX's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for RX. Fulton has control of RX's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and RX regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Fulton wants to finish this one by submission but RX is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Fulton. RX defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Fulton. Fulton works his way to his opponent's back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

After a battle for position, Fulton asserts his dominance and retains side control. RX prevents Fulton from improving position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. RX is trying to control Fulton's posture but Fulton avoids it.

RX is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fulton yanks on the arm and RX is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fulton.
