Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rhett Kline (ranked 3966 p4p, 3986 weight class) and Micah Mccullough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mccullough looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kline!
Kline tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kline is working hard here to advance position.
Kline struggling a bit here.

Mccullough looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kline looking for a sweep but Mccullough has passed into full mount! Oh no!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mccullough prevents Kline from getting the reversal.
Kline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Mccullough with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Kline wants to control but Mccullough is having none of it.

Mccullough jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kline manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Kline stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
Kline tries to bench press Mccullough off him but Mccullough keeps the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mccullough is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kline's shoulder. That is not cool.

Kline tries to bench press Mccullough off him but Mccullough keeps the position.
Mccullough has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kline!
Kline is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Mccullough is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kline is surviving well by controlling Mccullough's body position as best he can.

Mccullough with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kline is in all sorts of trouble here.

Kline tries to hold on but Mccullough postures up.
Kline working to try and regain half guard.
Kline wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Kline rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kline has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mccullough is working away from the top position though.

Mccullough wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kline keeps working.

Mccullough is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kline is just riding it out for now. Mccullough eventually gives up the hold.
Kline tries to roll over but Mccullough keeps him under control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mccullough is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Mccullough wants to take his opponent's back but Kline doesn't allow it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Mccullough shoots in and bounces Kline off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Mccullough trying to control the position from guard on top but Kline is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kline shoots in and bounces Mccullough off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kline stopping the sweep attempt from Mccullough.
Mccullough keeping moving, preventing Kline from controlling successfully.
Mccullough has his hands on Kline's head, controlling the position.
Mccullough controls Kline momentarily but Kline frees himself.

Kline trying to control but Mccullough is working from the bottom.
Kline stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mccullough swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Micah Mccullough has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mccullough looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kline shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mccullough napping and manages to drive through into side control!
A lull in the action here as Kline stalls from top position.

Mccullough wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Kline has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Mccullough's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Mccullough is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Kline!
