Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bengan Bengtsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Destin Craven!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bengtsson throws a good cross that connects.
Craven takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Craven throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Craven buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Craven misses with a few strikes there.
A little feinted left hand from Bengtsson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A jab from Bengtsson misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Craven has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Craven scores with a nice strike.
Craven checks the leg kick nicely there.
Craven tries a head kick but it misses.
Bengtsson is looking to counter punch.
Bengtsson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bengtsson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Craven. Bengtsson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bengtsson scores with a body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bengtsson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice defenses there by Bengtsson.
Craven lands a nice shot that snaps Bengtsson's head back.
Craven darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bengtsson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Craven under the eye.
Bengtsson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Craven lands with an overhand left.
Bengtsson tries to bum rush Craven with a series of wild strikes but Craven uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Craven throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bengtsson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Craven lands with a kick to the temple. Bengtsson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bengtsson is rocked!
Bengtsson bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Craven comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Bengtsson falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Bengtsson was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Destin Craven!
Destin Craven bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
