Polom has chosen Stuck in America as his entrance music. Massif Headingery has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Massif Headingery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Polom!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Headingery gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Headingery has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Headingery looking to hit a scissor sweep but Polom is one step ahead there.
Headingery is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Polom defends well.
Polom won't allow Headingery to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Headingery looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Polom wants to stand but Headingery is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Headingery is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Polom avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Polom tries to stand but Headingery is controlling from the bottom.
Polom stands up and waves to Headingery to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Polom moves into the clinch.
Headingery drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Polom pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Headingery gets caught napping as Polom dives in and scores a takedown. Headingery manages to retain guard.

Headingery escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Polom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Polom got a little sloppy there for a moment and Headingery has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Polom has managed to get both his arms back between Headingery's legs - danger averted.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Polom decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Headingery, up you get!
Polom closes the distance and clinches.
Polom is pushing Headingery up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Polom manages to break the clinch.
Polom moves into the clinch successfully.
Polom pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Polom gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Polom pulls guard.
Polom is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Headingery is controlling him.
Headingery has gone for a leg lock! Polom slips out almost immediately though and dives into Headingery's guard.
Headingery looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Headingery is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Polom frees his head nicely. Oh but Headingery has switched to an armbar! Polom is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
