The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonsson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jonsson misses with a looping left.
Jonsson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Towers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jonsson misses with a short punch on the inside.

Jonsson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Towers goes for a takedown attempt but Jonsson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jonsson misses with an uppercut. Towers saw that one coming.
Towers gets a takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Towers is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jonsson is defending against the submission attempts here by Towers.
