Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benny Igbko (ranked 2923 p4p, 4508 weight class) and Mike Beltran (ranked 158 p4p, 235 weight class). Mike Beltran will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Benny Igbko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Beltran!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Igbko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Igbko looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Beltran trying to control here.
Beltran tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Beltran controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Igbko wants to control but Beltran is keeping him busy.
Beltran wants to get back to full guard.
Beltran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Igbko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Beltran is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Beltran is looking to control Igbko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Beltran avoid being mounted?
Igbko is trying to control the action in half guard but Beltran is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beltran manages to get to full guard.
Igbko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Beltran controls Igbko momentarily but Igbko frees himself.
Igbko has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Beltran has his hands on Igbko's head, controlling the position.
Beltran keeping full guard, as Igbko tries to pass.
Igbko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Igbko looking to pass the guard.
Beltran is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Beltran seems keen to control Igbko's posture.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Beltran scores with a hook.

It looks like Benny Igbko has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Beltran throws a right and a left that both miss.
Igbko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Beltran, as that shot connected.
Mike Beltran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beltran tried to score with a low kick but Igbko checks it.
Beltran lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Igbko at a distance.
Beltran moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Beltran looks for the body kick but Igbko saw that one coming.
Igbko is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Beltran lands with a straight right. Igbko didn't see that one coming.
Beltran lands an overhand right.
Igbko avoids a kick to the body.
Beltran connects with a good right hand that stumbles Igbko. Igbko circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Beltran tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Beltran jabs Igbko to the body, keeping him at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice straight punches there by Beltran. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Beltran.
Mike Beltran is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Beltran lands a big right hand that sends Igbko crashing to the mat! Beltran stays standing though and waves Igbko back to his feet!

Igbko is rocked!
Igbko walks into a jab.
Oh Igbko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A nice inside leg kick there by Beltran. That's going to slow Igbko down.
Beltran lands a nice shot to the body.
Beltran cracks Igbko with a hook to the temple - Igbko is on wobbly legs here! Beltran swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Igbko falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Beltran wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mike Beltran!
Mike Beltran decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
