Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23506 p4p, 23583 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 45 - 33 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 34 - 49 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Amiga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Salvacion scores with a takedown into Amiga's guard. Salvacion not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Amiga is controlling Salvacion's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga has control of Salvacion's left arm, preventing Salvacion from doing any damage. Salvacion controlling from the top position. Salvacion trying to control the position from guard on top but Amiga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salvacion was covering up waiting for the punch and Amiga finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salvacion managing to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga postures up in Salvacion's guard and throws a big left but Salvacion blocks it. Salvacion controlling the position. Salvacion's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Amiga tries to free his leg and advance position but Salvacion is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga sitting in guard, not really doing much. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Salvacion pulls Amiga in to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kugus Amiga will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Amiga leaves Salvacion with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. Amiga slaps away a takedown attempt from Salvacion, before circling back to the center of the mat. Amiga is looking to counter with a body kick. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion stuffs the takedown attempt from Amiga. Amiga gets slowly back to his feet. Salvacion shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amiga defends it nicely. Kugus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Salvacion tries for a takedown but Amiga circles away easily and Amiga counters with a big head kick but Salvacion shrugs it off. Salvacion stuffs the takedown. Salvacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Amiga avoids it really well and circles away. Salvacion just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromAmiga. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kugus Amiga dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Amiga fails with a takedown attempt. And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Amiga manages to step out the way in time. Salvacion shoots in but no luck this time. It appears Amiga was looking to counter with a kick there. Amiga gets caught flat footed, as Salvacion shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salvacion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Amiga is controlling Salvacion's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion trying to control but Amiga is working from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Amiga seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Amiga fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salvacion's waist but Salvacion gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amiga off to one side. Salvacion is trying to counter with his kicks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kugus Amiga. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salvacion displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Amiga. Salvacion is looking for the big counter here. Amiga slaps away a takedown attempt from Salvacion, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl out of it but Salvacion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Amiga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Amiga attempts a counter takedown but Salvacion avoids it well and moves away. Richard John Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kugus Amiga is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Salvacion bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Richard John Salvacion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Amiga has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
