Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Even Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Hawk is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Even Steven! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackson Hawk! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Steven is looking for a sweep. Hawk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Steven has managed to free his arm - good work. Hawk tries to stand but can't do so whilst Steven controls his leg. Hawk is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Steven is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hawk throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Steven misses with a takedown and Hawk counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Steven's guard now. Steven is breathing heavily. Steven looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hawk thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hawk in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Hawk working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hawk drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Steven dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk wants to sweep but no luck. Hawk looking to control.
Hawk working for a triangle but Steven defends it easily.
Hawk has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Steven doesn't defend quickly enough and Hawk has managed to lock this one up! Can Steven escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hawk on a fantastic submission victory.
