Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pedrito Perez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Sigandi Legend Jr!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Hemmingworth and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Legend Jr shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Perez is trying to defend but Legend Jr finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Perez gets full guard.
Perez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Perez is on top in guard.

Perez seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Legend Jr for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Legend Jr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Legend Jr shoots in and bounces Perez off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Perez has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Legend Jr is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Perez is trying to drag Legend Jr to the mat but Legend Jr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Perez has had enough of the clinch but Legend Jr keeps him there for the moment.

Legend Jr shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Perez is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Legend Jr presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Legend Jr has clasped his hands together around Perez's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Perez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Legend Jr defends well and Perez ends up having to push Legend Jr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Perez manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Legend Jr keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Legend Jr lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Perez closes the distance and clinches up with Legend Jr, looking for a takedown. Perez pushes Legend Jr against the cage but Legend Jr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pedrito Perez will probably get the nod.
That's time! Perez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Perez is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Legend Jr turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Legend Jr manages to end up in side control.

Perez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Legend Jr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Legend Jr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Horrible takedown attempt by Perez or perhaps it was just good defense by Legend Jr, which made it look bad.
Perez throws a hook to the side of Legend Jr's head but Legend Jr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Legend Jr fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Perez to the ground. Legend Jr is now in Perez's guard.

Perez manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Pedrito Perez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Legend Jr shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Legend Jr was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Perez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
