Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Blikstein (ranked 936 p4p, 722 weight class) and Reino Ruttu (ranked 140 p4p, 112 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Blikstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reino Ruttu!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruttu misses with an uppercut
and Blikstein counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ruttu tries to move into range but Blikstein moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ruttu misses the jab.
Ruttu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Blikstein checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Blikstein feinted with a counter takedown.
Ruttu throws out a loose jab but Blikstein uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Ruttu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Blikstein is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ruttu.
It seemed like Ruttu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Blikstein throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ruttu was covering up waiting for the punch and Blikstein finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Paulo Blikstein dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ruttu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blikstein has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blikstein and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Blikstein crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ruttu - the referee stops the clock and Blikstein gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ruttu. Blikstein manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
