Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paolo Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac comes to the cage accompanied by The Last Song. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Roberts and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White shoots in looking for a takedown. Mac tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mac manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
White is looking to clinch but Mac is avoiding it.
Mac stuffs the takedown attempt from White. White gets slowly back to his feet.
Mac could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

White throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mac's waist but Mac gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing White off to one side.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Mac throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mac is looking to wear down White with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Mac lands a head kick. White smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Mac stalks White and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into White's face. White staggers backwards, shaken.

White takes a kick to the side of the head.
White shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Matthew White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
White takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
White lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Mac wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Mac knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground.

Poor strikes thrown by White there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paolo Mac.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mac, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
