PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arturo Vargas (ranked 474 p4p, 1090 weight class) and Panda MacLeod (ranked 37 p4p, 77 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Arturo Vargas has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Arturo Vargas seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda MacLeod!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
MacLeod lands a nice shot to the body.
MacLeod looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
MacLeod tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Vargas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Panda MacLeod has been cut.
MacLeod connects with a looping right hand.
Vargas jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A big left from Vargas misses.
MacLeod scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vargas doesn't seem bothered though.
Vargas staying out of range there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vargas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from MacLeod finds it's way round the side to connect with Vargas's head.

MacLeod instigates a clinch.
MacLeod tries to work over Vargas's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

MacLeod throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Vargas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vargas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
MacLeod backs away from a small jab... but Vargas lunges forward with a huge superman punch! MacLeod crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Vargas with a spectacular finish!
