Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Franek Kimono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Franek Kimono! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Santana! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santana scores a takedown into full mount! Santana misses with a head shot. Kimono tries to lock up and control but Santana gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Santana wants to control the pace but Kimono is squirming around nicely. Santana is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Kimono really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Santana putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Santana wants to stand but Kimono is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Santana gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Santana shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kimono as he jumps to the side. Santana shoots in for a double leg but Kimono sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Santana throws an overhand right that lands on Kimono's shoulder, as Kimono tries to avoid the shot. Santana throws a shot from downtown. Kimono moves away and avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santana misses with a straight right. Santana shoots in looking for a takedown. Kimono tries to sprawl out of it but Santana keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kimono manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Franek Kimono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Santana. Santana looks gassed! Kimono decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kimono looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Santana wants to get back to his feet.
Kimono is trying for a kimura here. Santana looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kimono wins by kimura!
