Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antonio Luciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, KO Jacckson!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jacckson has managed to clinch.
Jacckson misses with the head strike.
Luciano blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Luciano has a couple of punches blocked by Jacckson.
I was talking to Luciano's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Jacckson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jacckson lands a left hand.
Luciano throws a head punch that misses.
Luciano lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jacckson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Luciano gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Luciano lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jacckson is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Luciano is defending well.
A head punch on the inside from Jacckson fails to land.
Jacckson misses with a hook from the clinch.
Jacckson lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Luciano.
Jacckson jumps guard but Luciano stands there with Jacckson around his waist. Jacckson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Antonio Luciano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of KO Jacckson.
Luciano gets underhooks to prevent Jacckson's takedown attempt.
Jacckson lands a nice uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Luciano creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jacckson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Luciano lands a hook to the side of the head.
Luciano throws a head punch that misses.
Luciano pushes Jacckson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Luciano as Jacckson tries to tie him up.
Jacckson tries to throw a body punch but Luciano avoids it by throwing Jacckson back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jacckson scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jacckson lands with a left to the head.
Luciano with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Luciano pushes off an throws an elbow but Jacckson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Luciano misses with a hook from the clinch.

Jacckson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jacckson manages to end up in side control.

Jacckson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Luciano has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jacckson but great work by Luciano.
Jacckson manages to get back to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jacckson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Luciano pulls his head out easily.
Luciano is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Jacckson tries to roll over but Luciano keeps him under control.
Luciano takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Luciano continues to stall.
Jacckson has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Luciano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jacckson on the ground.
Luciano wants to take a breather but Jacckson is having none of it.

Jacckson actively working from the bottom here.
Jacckson is looking to improve his position.
Luciano is trying to control. Jacckson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jacckson looking for submissions off his back.

Jacckson is positioning himself well to prevent Luciano advancing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jacckson actively working from the bottom here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Luciano in particular looking to stall.
Luciano has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jacckson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A little jabbing left from Jacckson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jacckson slips under a jab from Luciano.
Jacckson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Oooooh!!! Jacckson has knocked Luciano down with a huge combo! Jacckson steps away and waves a wobbly Luciano back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Luciano is rocked!

It looks like Antonio Luciano has been cut.
Luciano misses with a lunging right hand
and Jacckson scores with a counter punch that sends Luciano to the canvas! Jacckson smells blood - he's punishing Luciano with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Luciano has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). KO Jacckson!
KO Jacckson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
