Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 23425 p4p, 23668 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 32 - 47 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 36 - 40 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Libat shoots in for a double leg but Sapi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sapi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Libat shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sapi pinned against the cage. Sapi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat shoots for a takedown but Sapi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. And Sapi responds with a good body kick, but Libat manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sapi misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Let's hope that Sapi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sapi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Libat as he avoids it easily. Libat appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Sapi looking to score a takedown here. Libat is defending well but Sapi drives through and ends up in Libat's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Libat misses with a kick to the body and Sapi makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Libat really felt that one! Sapi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Libat as he avoids it easily. It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there. Libat shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sapi's guard. Sapi is adopting a defensive guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Libat has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Libat wants to pass the guard but Sapi is keeping the position. Sapi has his hands on Libat's head, controlling the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sapi dives in for a single leg takedown but Libat sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Libat is looking to counter with a body kick. Libat darts in looking for a takedown but Sapi gets double underhooks and turns Libat into the cage. Sapi replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Libat blocks it well. Libat is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Sapi is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi has clasped his hands together around Libat's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Libat holding on. Libat wants to control but Sapi postures up. Sapi controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Sapi is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. You can see the frustration on Libat's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Libat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sapi sprawls well. Sapi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Libat gets slowly back to his feet. Sapi doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Sapi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sapi showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi content to control rather than advance. Libat is looking for a sweep. Sapi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sapi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Libat trying to control from the bottom.

Libat shoots in looking for a takedown but Sapi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Libat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sapi shoots in for a takedown but Libat shows good takedown defense. Libat throws a counter high kick but Sapi was just alert enough to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sapi gets a double leg takedown into Libat's guard. Libat is pulling down on Sapi's head. It's preventing any offense from Sapi, at least for the moment. Libat looking for a guillotine here but Sapi defends easily.
Higanti Libat has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wala Sapi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that's the end of the fight! Wala Sapi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sapi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
