Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Austin Stevens (ranked 1757 p4p, 3129 weight class) and Mick Marsden (ranked 190 p4p, 318 weight class). Marsden has chosen Brick - Ben Folds Five as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Austin Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mick Marsden!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevens throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marsden.
That kick from Marsden tenderised Stevens's leg. Stevens is trying to keep his angry face on.
Marsden cracks Stevens with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stevens throws a shot from downtown. Marsden moves away and avoids it.
Marsden with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Stevens throws a series of punches but Marsden avoids them all with ease.
Stevens misses the shot to the body.
Marsden misses with a looping left.
Stevens throws a good cross that connects.
Marsden misses with a wild body shot.
Marsden misses with a hook
and Stevens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Marsden throws a big shot that misses.
Marsden drives through and clinches with Stevens against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Still in the clinch, Marsden scores with a nice short uppercut.
Stevens wants to break free but Marsden has control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Marsden lands an elbow that stopped Stevens in his tracks for a moment.
Marsden working some nice short punches in the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Marsden.
It looks like Austin Stevens has been cut.
Stevens takes an elbow to the forehead.
Marsden lands an elbow inside.
Stevens is rocked!
Marsden pushes Stevens back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Oh Stevens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marsden lands an elbow inside.
Marsden pushes Stevens against the cage. Marsden is working some dirty boxing. Marsden pushes off with a quick right hook! Stevens goes down! Stevens tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Marsden moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mick Marsden!
Mick Marsden seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
