Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bryan White (ranked 1344 p4p, 1628 weight class) and Koen Bauweraerts (ranked 139 p4p, 173 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by “Tall Cans in the Air” Transplants. Bauweraerts is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Linkin Park x Steve Aoki - A Light That Never Comes (Coone Remix). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bryan White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Koen Bauweraerts! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White takes a swing at Bauweraerts's ribcage but misses. White throws a shot from downtown. Bauweraerts moves away and avoids it. White misses the jab. White is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. White takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bauweraerts throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. White throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bauweraerts counters with a nice double leg into side control. White won't be happy with that. White gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bauweraerts trying to control from half guard but White is working away. White works his way to full guard. Good work. Bauweraerts lands a couple of elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
White has momentary wrist control but Bauweraerts slips an elbow through the middle. Bauweraerts sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bauweraerts works over White with some ground and pound from guard. Bauweraerts must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. White preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bauweraerts scoring with punches to the head and body. Bauweraerts is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Bauweraerts postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. White is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bauweraerts's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bauweraerts missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bauweraerts wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position. Bauweraerts controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bauweraerts cracks White with a solid left hand. Bauweraerts sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White looking to sweep here. No luck so far. White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bauweraerts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bauweraerts manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. White being controlled here, momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bauweraerts stands up over White, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Bauweraerts seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. White is looking for a triangle but Bauweraerts pushes his legs off easily.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bauweraerts with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Koen Bauweraerts dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Bauweraerts slips a jab from White. A jab from White misses. White misses with the combination.

and Bauweraerts counters with a single leg into guard. White didn't expect that. Bauweraerts looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bauweraerts distracts White with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bauweraerts is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bauweraerts scoring with punches to the head and body. Bauweraerts throwing strikes from guard but White blocks nicely. Bauweraerts pushes down on White's leg and manages to get into half guard. Bauweraerts lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked White! More strikes land and this one is all over! Bauweraerts jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Koen Bauweraerts! After winning the bout, Koen Bauweraerts thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
