Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hjalmar Raak (ranked 2780 p4p, 2512 weight class) and Leo Bosanac (ranked 295 p4p, 271 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bosanac's choice of entrance music: Bobnoxious-Big Cannons. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Hjalmar Raak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Bosanac! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Lou da Vinci.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raak tries to move into range but Bosanac moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Bosanac lands with a right hand. Bosanac will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
An attempted straight right counter from Raak misses the target. Raak slips under a jab. Bosanac misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bosanac lands with a good body shot. Raak has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Jed's Gym in the buildup to the fight. Bosanac scores with a spinning back kick! A head kick misses from Bosanac. It appears Raak was looking to counter with a kick there. Raak swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bosanac tests Raak's chin there with a solid looking shot. Bosanac misses with a body kick. Bosanac misses with a body kick. Leo Bosanac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bosanac throws a low kick but Raak avoids it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bosanac looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

and Raak counters with a one-two to the body. Raak ducks under a wild hook from Bosanac. Bosanac has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Raak finds it's way round the side to connect with Bosanac's head. Bosanac uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Raak. Bosanac throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bosanac misses with an uppercut. Raak saw that one coming. Bosanac shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Raak blocks a low kick nicely. It looked like Raak wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Bosanac lands a body shot.
Bosanac throws a head kick that misses. Bosanac throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Raak counters with a leg kick. Bosanac throws a lazy right hand but Raak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Raak misses the jab. Raak blocks a jab. Raak is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Raak thuds his right hand into Bosanac's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bosanac lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Bosanac throws a leg kick that is checked and Bosanac takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Raak has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bosanac. Bosanac takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Bosanac is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Raak. Bosanac feints and then cracks Raak's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Raak down. Bosanac misses with an uppercut
and Raak moves into the clinch. Bosanac fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bosanac is working for takedown but Raak is calmly controlling the position for now.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice left hand lands by Raak.
A head punch on the inside from Bosanac fails to land. Raak has Bosanac pressed against the cage, preventing Bosanac from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Raak effectively controlling the action here. A shot in the inside from Raak. Raak controlling the action here for a moment.
Still in the clinch, Raak scores with a nice short uppercut. Bosanac misses with a punch on the inside.
Bosanac takes a shot to the head. Raak tries to throw a body punch but Bosanac avoids it by throwing Raak back against the cage. Raak managing to block the knees to the body from Bosanac.

Raak makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Raak tries a body shot but Bosanac blocks it.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bosanac blocks a body shot from Raak. Raak taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Bosanac looks to throw an elbow but misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Raak lands on the inside with an uppercut. Bosanac can't find room to land a body shot as Raak controls the action.
Raak stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Raak lands with a short head shot on the inside. Raak leaning his opponent against the cage. Raak lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hjalmar Raak will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Raak ducks under a wild hook from Bosanac. Bosanac with a nice calf kick. Bosanac throws a poor cross that misses
and Raak counters by clinching up. Raak lands with a short head shot on the inside. Raak gets through Bosanac's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Raak manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Bosanac is trying to push Raak away but Raak has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bosanac struggles to land a body shot inside as Raak controls his hands.
Bosanac tries to circle away but Raak has him pinned against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Raak lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Raak has picked Bosanac up - he's going for a ride! Raak dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Raak slows the pace down in half guard. Bosanac tries to roll over but Raak keeps him under control.

Raak seems to be working for a kimura but Bosanac defends the submission attempt.
Raak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bosanac doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Raak. Well, if Raak is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight� I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza� Yum. Can't wait.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bosanac is trying to control but can't.

Raak can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bosanac is looking to escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bosanac is squirming around, avoiding Raak's attempts to control the action. Bosanac can't escape the position.
Raak trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bosanac tries to hold on but Raak pushes him away. Raak content just to control the position here. Bosanac is working to get back to half guard.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Raak goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bosanac is on top in guard.
Bosanac with a flurry of punches that miss. Raak utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bosanac postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Raak is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Raak keeping moving, preventing Bosanac from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bosanac throws a big right hand that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hjalmar Raak dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Bosanac throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Raak cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Raak tries to clinch but Bosanac moves out of range. Raak closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Nice shot by Bosanac. Bosanac misses with a body kick. As Bosanac looks to move away, Raak throws a big counter combo but Bosanac just gets out of the way. Bosanac tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. It looked like Raak wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Bosanac stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bosanac throws a jab when Raak was well out of range. Bosanac misses with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bosanac looks to land a body kick but Raak moved away. Bosanac takes a kick to the side of the head. Bosanac fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Raak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bosanac manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A little jabbing left from Bosanac on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bosanac keeps Raak at a distance using the push kick. Bosanac misses the shot to the body. Raak takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Raak is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bosanac misses with a few strikes there.
Raak swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Bosanac gets off balance looking for a body kick and Raak counters with a straight right hand. Bosanac lands with a right hand. Bosanac paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Raak punishes Bosanac's body with a nice straight punch. Bosanac shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bosanac misses with a body kick. Raak moves away from the strike by Bosanac.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bosanac misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Raak lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bosanac at a distance.

and Raak cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bosanac looks to throw the jab but Raak is out of range. Raak swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Raak takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Raak for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Raak makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Raak slowing the pace effectively. Raak lands a left hand.

Raak thuds his shin into the meat of Bosanac's side. Raak is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Bosanac lands a body shot.
Raak takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bosanac throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Leo Bosanac has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bosanac misses with the body kick and Raak counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Bosanac takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Raak just misses with a punch to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Bosanac swings widly with a right hand
and Raak connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A low kick from Bosanac misses and Raak counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bosanac missing with a left hand there. Raak was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Hjalmar Raak is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bosanac connects with a good right hand that stumbles Raak. Raak circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bosanac tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Raak lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bosanac thows a leg kick but Raak checks it and Raak counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bosanac throws a leg kick and Raak connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Raak scores with a nice right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hjalmar Raak. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Raak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
