Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Barry Barlow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ochi Tomouchi!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomouchi scores with a jab.
Tomouchi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Barlow is able to avoid easily.
Tomouchi tries to score with a low kick but Barlow moves his leg out of the way.
Barlow went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Jab, jab by Tomouchi - just one landing.
It looks like Barry Barlow has been cut.
Tomouchi throws a leg kick that is checked
and Barlow counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ochi Tomouchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Decent striking displayed by Barlow there.
Barlow misses with a head kick.
Tomouchi lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barlow at a distance.
Tomouchi scores with a punch to the head.
Tomouchi tried to score with a low kick but Barlow checks it.
Tomouchi cracks Barlow with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Barlow looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tomouchi finish him?
Barlow is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tomouchi drops Barlow with a straight right hand, right on the button! Tomouchi follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ochi Tomouchi!
A relieved looking Ochi Tomouchi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
