Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Sandoval (ranked 3921 p4p, 4006 weight class) and Evgenij Prighozin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tristan Sandoval! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Evgenij Prighozin! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prighozin looking to score a takedown here. Sandoval is defending well but Prighozin drives through and ends up in Sandoval's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Prighozin trying to control but Sandoval is working from the bottom. Sandoval doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Sandoval looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sandoval trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prighozin won't allow Sandoval to get back to his feet. Sandoval has his feet on Prighozin's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prighozin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sandoval is trying to stand back up but Prighozin is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandoval makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Sandoval wants to clinch. Prighozin misses with a takedown and Sandoval makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Prighozin moves into the clinch. Prighozin has Sandoval pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Prighozin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sandoval tumbling to the mat - Prighozin dives into Sandoval's guard. Prighozin won't allow Sandoval to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandoval is pulling down on Prighozin's head. It's preventing any offense from Prighozin, at least for the moment. Sandoval tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sandoval working a defensive guard but Prighozin manages to pass into side control anyway.
Sandoval is looking for a sweep. Sandoval is working hard here to advance position. Sandoval wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Sandoval might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Prighozin working away.

Sandoval is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Prighozin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sandoval is trying to improve his position. Sandoval manages to work his way to half guard, despite Prighozin's best efforts. Prighozin trying to mount his opponent but Sandoval defends it. Sandoval is not content to let Prighozin control the position. Sandoval flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sandoval tries to get to full guard but Prighozin has control of the leg. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sandoval is refusing to be controlled, as Prighozin sits in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sandoval closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Prighozin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sandoval smiles and moves away.
Oooooh!!! Sandoval has knocked Prighozin down with a huge combo! Sandoval steps away and waves a wobbly Prighozin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Prighozin is rocked!
It looks like Evgenij Prighozin has been cut. Prighozin looks winded! Prighozin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Prighozin lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Sandoval manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tristan Sandoval dominated that round. The cut man is working on Evgenij Prighozin's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Prighozin clinches. Prighozin is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Prighozin tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Sandoval lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Prighozin or not. Sandoval can't find room to land a body shot as Prighozin controls the action.
Sandoval tries to stall but Prighozin uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Prighozin. Prighozin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sandoval walks away with a smile on his face. Prighozin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Prighozin looks for a takedown but Sandoval sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sandoval closes the distance and pushes Prighozin back into the cage. Sandoval fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A frustrated look appears on Prighozin's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandoval throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Prighozin blocks it with crossed arms. Prighozin jumps into guard, dragging Sandoval to the mat.
Sandoval controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Prighozin is breathing heavily. Sandoval makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Prighozin is working an open guard so Sandoval takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Prighozin or perhaps it was just good defense by Sandoval, which made it look bad. Tristan Sandoval has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evgenij Prighozin. Prighozin swats away the attempt to clinch by Sandoval. Prighozin let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Sandoval fails to land with a series of punches.
Tristan Sandoval seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sandoval is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Prighozin with the counter takedown but Sandoval avoids it easily. Sandoval tries to clinch up. Sandoval gets in close and instigates a clinch. Prighozin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sandoval is defending well for now. Prighozin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sandoval gets the underhooks and prevents it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sandoval. Prighozin does a little dance to reset his feet. Sandoval darts in and clinches Prighozin up against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Sandoval.

Sandoval clinches up with Prighozin and pushes him back against the cage. Prighozin blocks a body shot from Sandoval. Sandoval lands a body shot. Sandoval misses with some punches.
Sandoval escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sandoval tries to clinch up but Prighozin circles away and keeps his distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Sandoval looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sandoval doesn't manage to clinch there - Prighozin circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Prighozin walks into a jab. A punch combination from Sandoval misses. Tristan Sandoval is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sandoval wants to clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Prighozin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Prighozin shoots in but no luck this time. Prighozin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sandoval pinned against the cage. Sandoval gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sandoval changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

A left lands for Sandoval. Prighozin shoots in looking for a takedown. Sandoval tries to sprawl out of it but Prighozin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sandoval manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tristan Sandoval has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Evgenij Prighozin. Sandoval wants to clinch. Despite the aggression on Prighozin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Prighozin takes a jab right on the kisser.

Prighozin throws a counter combo. Sandoval drives through and clinches with Prighozin against the cage.
Sandoval pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Prighozin slips a jab from Sandoval. Sandoval moves into the clinch. Sandoval taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Sandoval lands a shot to the body. Sandoval throws a head punch that misses. Sandoval lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Prighozin. Sandoval manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sandoval effectively controlling the action here.

Tristan Sandoval is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sandoval looks to land a combination. Prighozin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Sandoval tries to clinch up but Prighozin circles away and keeps his distance. Prighozin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Prighozin unleashes a big counter combination but Sandoval bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Sandoval is looking to clinch but Prighozin is avoiding it.
Sandoval lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Prighozin circles away quickly and effectively. Prighozin drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sandoval defends it well. Sandoval has closed the distance and engaged Prighozin in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandoval displaying some good clinch control by pressing Prighozin up against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Sandoval fails to land. Sandoval's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sandoval tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Prighozin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sandoval throws a one two combo.
Sandoval scores with a jab to the body. Tristan Sandoval is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sandoval rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Prighozin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Prighozin has a takedown stuffed. Evgenij Prighozin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Prighozin keeps the fight on the outside.
And that's the end of the fight! Tristan Sandoval showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sandoval has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
