The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klaas takes the fight into the clinch.
Klaas pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jovonovich passes Klaas's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jovonovich can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Klaas is looking to escape.

Jovonovich wants to control the pace but Klaas is squirming around nicely.
