Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 5851 p4p, 23181 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 96 - 25 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 103 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fighter A manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fighter A looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Fighter B working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fighter A's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A pulls Fighter B in close to his closed guard and prevents Fighter B from doing any damage or advancing position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Fighter B throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Nice sprawl there from Fighter B as Fighter A shoots in. Fighter B looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter B tries for a takedown but Fighter A sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from Fighter A as Fighter B shoots in. Fighter A stuffs the takedown. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B shoots for a double leg takedown but Fighter A sprawls well. He's pushed Fighter B's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fighter B closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter B lands in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A controlling the position. Fighter B loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fighter A controlling Fighter B's posture. Fighter A avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter B is looking to work some ground and pound but Fighter A has wrist control. Fighter A controlling Fighter B's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. No luck for Fighter A with that takedown attempt. Fighter B shapes to counter with a head kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. No luck for Fighter B with that takedown attempt. Fighter A gets a takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A controlling the pace. Fighter B is trying to control but can't.
Fighter A not doing much here.
Fighter B is trying to maintain the position but Fighter A is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter A works his foot free and advances to mount. Fighter A punching from mount but Fighter B doing a good job of avoiding damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter A thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Fighter B flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B wants to control but Fighter A is having none of it. Fighter B tries to reverse the position but Fighter A maintains control. Xxx Xxx overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fighter A avoids the attempt from Fighter B to control. Fighter A tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter B tries to hold on but Fighter A pushes him away. Fighter A controlling his opponent. Fighter B tries to hold on but Fighter A postures up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A controlling from mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Fighter B fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fighter B looks for a takedown but Fighter A sprawls well. Fighter A went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. It appears Fighter A was looking to counter with a kick there. Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx. Fighter B changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter A tries to avoid it but Fighter B manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter A to the ground. Fighter A escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fighter B pinned against the cage. Fighter B gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fighter B misses with a body kick. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter B darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fighter B's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fighter B's back! Fighter A controls the position. Fighter A missing with punches from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a pause in the action here. Fighter A controlling the positon. Even with his hooks in, Fighter A manages to miss with strikes from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter B covering up well and avoiding damage. Fighter A is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Fighter B has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B is really stuck here.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
