Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sato Mikoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Fredin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mikoto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Traditional Samurai Song. William Fredin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sato Mikoto's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sato Mikoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, William Fredin! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fredin tries to clinch but Mikoto is having none of it. Fredin drives through with a takedown into guard. Fredin trying to control but Mikoto is working from the bottom. Fredin stands up from Mikoto's guard - Fredin perhaps looking for a knockout. Mikoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fredin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mikoto with a body punch. A glancing blow. Mikoto tries to land a front kick but Fredin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Sato Mikoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A good leg kick by Fredin. Mikoto scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fredin doesn't seem bothered though. Fredin looks gassed! Mikoto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fredin throws a head punch that misses. Fredin trying to stall but Mikoto improves his position.
Mikoto breaks the clinch.
Mikoto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mikoto throws a right and a left that both miss. Mikoto looks to land a combination. Fredin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mikoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fredin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mikoto misses with a leg kick and Fredin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mikoto won't be happy with that. Mikoto gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Mikoto is trying to maintain the position but Fredin is very close to passing his half guard. Mikoto is looking to improve his position.
Mikoto moves into full guard.
Fredin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mikoto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fredin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fredin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mikoto has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fredin should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mikoto has tightened it up now! Fredin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
