The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinkley stuns Kowalski with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hinkley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kowalski stuffs the takedown.
Kowalski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hinkley shoots for a double leg takedown but Kowalski sprawls well. He's pushed Hinkley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Hinkley. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hinkley tries to keep at a distance but Kowalski has taken the fight into the clinch.

Kowalski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kowalski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Joseph Kowalski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab lands there for Hinkley.

It looks like Joseph Kowalski has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hinkley connects with a nice cross there... Kowalski is looking wobbly and Hinkley recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Kowalski to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Hinkley jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
