Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elijah Rosenwood (ranked 4164 p4p, 4188 weight class) and Stephen Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elijah Rosenwood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stephen Daniels! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rosenwood tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Daniels decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Rosenwood is looking to improve his position.
Rosenwood tries to kick Daniels off in order to stand up. Daniels Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Rosenwood is looking to reverse the position. You can see the frustration on Rosenwood's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Daniels is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rosenwood has escaped the position, nice work there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels takes a little break here. Rosenwood wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rosenwood to see if he's OK. Rosenwood wants to control but Daniels postures up. Daniels tries for a kimura but Rosenwood is defending well. Rosenwood tries to escape but Daniels is in control. Daniels is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rosenwood's shoulder. That is not cool. Rosenwood tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rosenwood is trying to control Daniels's posture but Daniels avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rosenwood tries to improve position but can't. Daniels working the ground and pound. Daniels tries to stand but Rosenwood is controlling his head. Rosenwood tries to improve position but can't. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Rosenwood can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Daniels throws a sloppy head kick and Rosenwood moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels rushes Rosenwood and presses him up against the cage. Daniels tries to land knees in the clinch but Rosenwood avoids the damage to the body. Daniels has hold of one of Rosenwood's legs. Rosenwood is fighting the takedown attempt but Daniels gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Rosenwood looking to control.
Rosenwood tries to land a sweep but no joy. Daniels avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Daniels lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Daniels looking to pass the guard. Daniels is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels lands a couple of digs. Daniels scoring with some ground and pound. Daniels has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rosenwood trying to keep a closed guard but Daniels is proving a slippery customer.
Rosenwood has momentary wrist control but Daniels slips an elbow through the middle. Daniels slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Daniels has gone for a leg lock! Rosenwood slips out almost immediately though and dives into Daniels's guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Stephen Daniels dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rosenwood shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daniels pinned against the cage. Daniels gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rosenwood closes this distance looking for a takedown but Daniels circles away. Daniels feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Rosenwood manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Rosenwood is looking to control Daniels's arms but Daniels gets an underhook and turns him. Now Rosenwood has his back to the cage. Daniels turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Stephen Daniels has got the better of the ground game so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rosenwood taking punishment in the form of punches.
Daniels wants to control but Rosenwood is keeping him busy. Daniels tries to stand but Rosenwood is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rosenwood looks to move to half guard but instead Daniels has passed into mount! Damn! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rosenwood is squirming around, avoiding Daniels's attempts to control the action. Rosenwood gets back to half guard. Daniels with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Daniels tries to stand and escape but Rosenwood is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rosenwood is looking to improve his position.
Daniels content to control rather than advance. Daniels's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Rosenwood is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Daniels jumps into side control! Daniels tries to stand but Rosenwood is controlling his head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rosenwood takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels staying calm. Rosenwood is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Daniels's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Rosenwood is looking to escape. Rosenwood is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Daniels scores with a couple of nice shots. Daniels tries to stand and escape but Rosenwood is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rosenwood is looking to improve his position.
Daniels with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Daniels shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rosenwood is trying to defend but Daniels finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Daniels passes into side control, despite Rosenwood's attempt to control the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Daniels scoring with punches and elbows. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Stephen Daniels showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Daniels moves into range and clinches up with Rosenwood. Rosenwood looking to stall.
Daniels manages to break the clinch.
Daniels fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Daniels fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rosenwood, pushing him back against the cage. Rosenwood is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rosenwood drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Daniels gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rosenwood taking a breather. Daniels has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Daniels misses with a double jab.
Rosenwood fails with a takedown attempt. Daniels gets a double leg takedown into Rosenwood's guard. Rosenwood is wriggling around but Daniels manages to pass to half guard.
Daniels seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Daniels is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Daniels looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Daniels uses his free foot to push down on Rosenwood's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rosenwood. Rosenwood looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Daniels is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Rosenwood knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Rosenwood for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rosenwood can't escape the position.
Daniels lands shots from the back. Daniels has good solid back control here. Rosenwood takes a big shot to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rosenwood has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. I really don't envy Rosenwood right now.
Daniels lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Daniels has got one arm under Rosenwood's chin. This could be trouble... Rosenwood trying to control the other hand but Daniels gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Rosenwood has tapped out! The fight is over!
