Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nils Ragnaar (ranked 3372 p4p, 2473 weight class) and Samuel Barfield (ranked 352 p4p, 266 weight class). Ragnaar comes into the arena with Mustasch - The Wave blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Ragnaar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Barfield!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Barfield blocks the low kick.
Ragnaar darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Barfield has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ragnaar finds it's way round the side to connect with Barfield's head.
Ragnaar lands a head kick. Barfield smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Barfield cracks Ragnaar with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ragnaar looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Barfield finish him?
It looks like Nils Ragnaar has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barfield cracks Ragnaar with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ragnaar tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Barfield pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ragnaar is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Barfield!
