Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denis Stojnic (ranked 2228 p4p, 23892 weight class) and Un Kha (ranked 241 p4p, 0 weight class). Kha has chosen Eye of the tiger as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denis Stojnic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Un Kha!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kha shoots in but no luck this time.

Stojnic looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Stojnic wants to control from the top but Kha keeps moving.
Kha pulls Stojnic in close to his closed guard and prevents Stojnic from doing any damage or advancing position.

Stojnic thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Stojnic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stojnic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stojnic stands and throws Kha's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stojnic thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Stojnic is trying to get an arm triangle but Kha is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kha can't do much from the bottom here.
Kha tries to bench press Stojnic off him but Stojnic keeps the position.
Kha pushes Stojnic away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stojnic gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Stojnic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stojnic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kha tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Stojnic trying to control the action but Kha is working from the bottom.
Kha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stojnic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stojnic is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kha is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stojnic tries for a kimura but Kha is defending well.

Stojnic is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kha is trying to escape and Stojnic transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kha is forced to tap! Nice work there by Stojnic! Very nice indeed!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Denis Stojnic!
In defeat, Un Kha stepped up to the mic, saying 'i'll be back!'.
