Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ni Hao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buggy Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buggy Clown!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hao keeps the fight on the outside.
Clown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hao ducks under a wild hook from Clown.
Clown missing with a left hand there. Hao was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hao throws a big shot that misses.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Clown!
Hao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Buggy Clown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clown swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hao.
Hao stuns Clown with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

No joy there for Clown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hao rushes Clown and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hao is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Buggy Clown has been cut.

Hao lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Clown is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Hao throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Clowns head.

Clown changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hao fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hao lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Clown sprawling to the canvas. Hao follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Clown hang on?

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Clown tries to get to full guard but Hao has control of the leg.

Hao wants to stand up but Clown is controlling the position.

Hao's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Clown swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Hao counters by moving into the clinch.
Clown drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hao gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Clown wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hao has him pressed against the ropes.

Clown is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Hao gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Clown.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hao.

Hao makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hao is pressed up against the ropes. Clown has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hao down to the mat. Hao avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Clown tries to pull guard but Hao holds him up against the ropes and eventually Clown drops back down to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hao fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Clown looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Clown throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clown wants to clinch but Hao slips to the side
and Hao counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Hao darts in and clinches Clown up against the ropes.
Hao lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Clown changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hao fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hao thuds his right hand into Clown's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The cut above Buggy Clown's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hao lands with a nice body punch.

Buggy Clown's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Still in the clinch, Hao scores with a nice short uppercut.
