Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Takanobu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Tsehov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsehov has chosen Ivan Rebroff - Cossack Patrol as his entrance music. On his way into the ring it seems that Akira Takanobu has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Akira Takanobu seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takanobu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tsehov swivels and escapes.

Takanobu shoots for a double leg takedown but Tsehov sprawls well. He's pushed Takanobu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Takanobu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Takanobu is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tsehov is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tsehov has escaped and now he's on top!

Takanobu has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tsehov is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Takanobu.
