The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snake takes the fight into the clinch.
Da Silva tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Da Silva is trying to stall.
Da Silva can't find room to land a body shot as Snake controls the action.
Snake is trying to pull guard but Da Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Snake ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Snake no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Snake is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Da Silva frees his head nicely. Oh but Snake has switched to an armbar! Da Silva is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
