Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilya Muromets (ranked 3188 p4p, 5569 weight class) and Lewis Kennedy (ranked 380 p4p, 556 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ilya Muromets has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ilya Muromets seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Muromets shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kennedy counters with a stiff right hand.
Muromets misses with a takedown attempt
and Kennedy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Muromets closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kennedy's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kennedy has hold of Muromets's hands but Muromets slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Muromets in particular looking to stall.

Kennedy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muromets. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Muromets lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That has opened up Lewis Kennedy's cut even more.
Muromets controlling the position here and throwing strikes from the top. Nice elbow lands there... and another... and another... oh, Kennedy is out! Muromets gets to his feet and admires his work - nice finish!
