Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kam Hootin (ranked 4014 p4p, 4012 weight class) and Crude Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kam Hootin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Crude Jensen! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hootin dives in for a single leg takedown but Jensen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jensen swings wildly with an uppercut but Hootin uses good head movement to avoid it. Jensen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hootin backwards. Jensen tries to throw a body punch but Hootin avoids it by throwing Jensen back against the cage. Hootin prevents a body shot from Jensen. Jensen misses with a hook from the clinch. Hootin slows down the pace here.

Hootin pushes Jensen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Crude Jensen has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jensen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hootin's elbow. Jensen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. A head punch on the inside from Jensen fails to land. Hootin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jensen misses with a hook from the clinch. Jensen struggles to land a body shot inside as Hootin controls his hands.

Hootin tries to stall but Jensen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Jensen swings wildly with an uppercut but Hootin uses good head movement to avoid it. Hootin with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

It looks like Kam Hootin has been cut. Jensen can't find room to land a body shot as Hootin controls the action.

Jensen misses the jab. Hootin drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jensen sprawls and moves away. A big right from Jensen misses. Jensen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jensen softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Hootin tries to pull guard but Jensen won't allow it.

Hootin gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jensen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jensen stands up and beckons Hootin to join him on the feet. Hootin has his takedown stuffed and Jensen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Horrible takedown attempt by Hootin or perhaps it was just good defense by Jensen, which made it look bad. Hootin fails with the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hootin shoots for a takedown but Jensen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hootin throws a leg kick enabling Jensen to counter with a crisp jab. Jensen cracks a nice hook into Hootin's ribs. Hootin is breathing heavily. Hootin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jensen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hootin. Hootin circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Jensen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hootin. Hootin obviously looking to wear him down.
Hootin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jensen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheers as Jensen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hootin doesn't seem phased though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jensen looks to land a left hand but Hootin moved out of range nicely. A slow jab from Jensen misses its intended target. Kam Hootin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hootin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jensen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kam Hootin's cut is getting worse. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hootin moves out of range of the strikes. Hootin is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Jensen drops Hootin with a straight right hand, right on the button! Jensen follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Crude Jensen!
