Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Bloomer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Greg Redman!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloomer misses with a wild combination.

Bloomer pushes Redman up against the cage in a clinch.
Bloomer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Redman misses with some punches.
The referee calls for Bloomer to work.
Redman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Redman tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bloomer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Redman smiles and moves away.
A head kick from Bloomer lands but Redman takes it in his stride.
Bloomer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Greg Redman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Redman throws a hook but Bloomer blocks it.
Redman throws a head kick but Bloomer moves out of range.
A punch combination from Redman misses.
Bloomer swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Bloomer shoots in for a double leg but Redman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Redman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Redman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A punch lands to the side of Bloomer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bloomer uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Redman has time to react.
Redman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bloomer. That one must have hurt.

Bloomer instigates a clinch.
Bloomer is trying to drag Redman to the mat but Redman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

A right handed body shot lands from Bloomer.

Bloomer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bloomer jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Bloomer has closed the distance and engaged Redman in a clinch.
Redman tries to break free but Bloomer pushes him back against the cage.
Redman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bloomer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Redman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bloomer finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Redman walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bloomer.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Redman tries to break free but Bloomer pushes him back against the cage.

Bloomer breaks the clinch.
Bloomer plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Greg Redman has been cut.

Bloomer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bloomer staying calm.

Bloomer decides to stand up, so the ref orders Redman to his feet.

Bloomer has closed the distance and engaged Redman in a clinch.
Bloomer works on Redman's body with a couple of short punches.

Bloomer jumps guard and drags Redman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Bloomer scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bloomer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Redman defends it nicely.
Redman misses with a left hand
and Bloomer counters with a series of strikes. Redman will be more careful next time no doubt.
Bloomer wants to clinch up but Redman keeps it at a distance.
Redman is looking for the big counter here.
Redman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bloomer avoids a kick to the body.
Redman stuffs the takedown.
Redman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bloomer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Redman avoids it really well and circles away.

Bloomer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Redman can do to turn this around?

Redman wants to get back to striking at distance but Bloomer won't allow it.

Oooooh!!! Redman has knocked Bloomer down with a huge combo! Redman steps away and waves a wobbly Bloomer back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Redman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Redman throws a leg kick that is checked
and Bloomer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bloomer shoots and misses
and Redman counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Redman throws a series of punches but Bloomer avoids them all with ease.
Bloomer throws a right and a left that Redman avoids nicely.
Redman wants to counter with a clinch but Bloomer pushes him away.

Redman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bloomer with a poor takedown

and Redman counters by moving into the clinch.
Redman tries to circle away but Bloomer has him pinned against the cage.
Redman wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bloomer keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Redman's efforts to push away.
Bloomer lands a body punch.

Bloomer has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Redman is trying to keep an underhook but Bloomer manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Redman has one foot on Bloomer's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Bloomer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Redman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Greg Redman seems to be getting the better of the standup.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bloomer shoots in looking for a takedown but Redman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bloomer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Redman drops Bloomer with a beautiful combination! Bloomer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Redman is looking for the KO!

Bloomer is rocked!
Redman knocks out Bloomer with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Redman before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Redman picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Greg Redman!
