Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Passion Pacio (ranked 4020 p4p, 4044 weight class) and Freddie Simons (ranked 0 p4p, 259 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Passion Pacio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Freddie Simons! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacio comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Pacio lands with an overhand left. Simons is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Simons takes one to the side of the head.
Simons tries to move into range but Pacio moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Pacio ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Pacio with a nice cross. Simons takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Pacio uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pacio throws an overhand right that lands on Simons's shoulder, as Simons tries to avoid the shot. Jab from Pacio. Pacio's corner calls for a 1-2. Pacio obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. A decent looking cross lands there for Pacio. Simons displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pacio throws out the jab. Simons tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Simons steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pacio. Pacio is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Simons. Pacio scores with a body shot.
Passion Pacio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A looping hook to the body misses from Pacio. Simons does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Simons steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pacio. Simons avoids the body shot from Pacio.
Pacio jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Pacio is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Pacio throws a hook but Simons blocks it. Pacio throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Simons tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Pacio lands with a nice body punch. Pacio throws a big shot that misses. Pacio misses with a straight left. Simons decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Simons is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Simons is working for a kimura but Pacio is defending it quite comfortably.
Pacio on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pacio tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pacio tries to roll over but Simons keeps him under control. Simons is thwarting Pacio's attempts to control the position. Simons is looking for a kimura but Pacio is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Simons to get the leverage. Pacio keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Pacio knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Simons on the ground. Simons seems to be working for a kimura but Pacio defends the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Simons is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pacio defends it well. Simons sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pacio defending well though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Passion Pacio dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Simons shoots in and drives through. Pacio sprawls well. A jab from Pacio misses. Simons changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Simons staying out of range there. Pacio connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Simons's hands. Simons has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Simons there as he acknowledges the shot. Pacio lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Pacio misses with a looping left. And Simons tries to counter it with a takedown but Pacio pushes his down on his head and steps out. Pacio cracks Simons with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Pacio connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Simons ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Simons is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Excellent takedown into side control there by Simons. This has been an exciting period of action! Simons wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pacio, who protects the arm well. Pacio might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Simons working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pacio is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Simons's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Simons! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Pacio has tapped! This one is allllll over!
