Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deiter Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cat Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Deiter Myers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cat Dog! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dog circles away. Myers takes a shot right to the bread basket. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dog has eaten all the pies! Dog moves into the clinch successfully.
Dog wants to break free but Myers has control.
Dog is trying to break the clinch but Myers has him pressed against the cage. Myers gets a trip takedown into half guard. Dog has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Myers is working away from the top position though. Dog pushes Myers off looking to stand but Myers dives back in and keeps control.
Dog is controlling Myers's position as best he can from this difficult position. Myers thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Myers is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dog wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Myers tries to bum rush Dog with a series of wild strikes but Dog uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dog drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Myers wants to sweep but no luck. Myers throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Dog seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Myers trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Dog trying to control but Myers is working from the bottom. Dog in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Myers is on top in guard.
Dog had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Myers is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dog Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Myers's back instead. Dog lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Myers hold on?!
Dog wants to control the position but Myers frees himself and scrambles - Dog manages to regain control in side control.
Myers gets back to half guard. Myers is breathing heavily. Myers actively working from the bottom here. Dog tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Myers tries to get to full guard but Dog has control of the leg. Dog is keen to just control but Myers is a slippery customer. Myers avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dog. Dog sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Myers defending well though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dog fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dog fails in his attempt to clinch. Myers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Myers throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Dog keeps control of the position for the meantime. Dog avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Myers.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Myers wants to take a breather but Dog is having none of it. Dog is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dog keeping control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Myers throwing shots but Dog is blocking nicely. Dog wants to improve his position but Myers is controlling well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dog looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Cat Dog will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Myers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dog looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Myers looks to land a combination but Dog avoids it well. Excellent takedown into side control there by Myers. Myers working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Myers misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Myers scoring with punches from side control. Dog struggling a bit here. Myers has hold of Dog's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dog seems comfortable defending it but Myers has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dog is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dog is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Myers couldn't care less - he's delighted!
